Bridwell Community Events

The Estate team are delighted to welcome, host and share an interesting and exciting mix of events throughout the year.

We champion friendship, learning and inclusivity through food and drink, music and the arts, makers and producer events, accessible practice and memorable experiences.

There are many terrific opportunities to join us here at Bridwell.

Taking place over two days, admission on the Friday will be exclusively reserved for school groups, with Saturday open to families and the general public.

Queer Spirit Festival – Thursday 15th to Monday 19th August inc.

Queer Spirit is more than a festival, it is a group that provides ways for LGBTQI+ people to explore spirituality, healing and personal development. A celebration of the creative and spiritual gifts that the queer tribes bring to humanity.

Returning to Bridwell for the 2nd summer in 2024, Queer Spirit will bring together many views, experiences, beliefs, philosophies and ways of being that have queerness, community and spirituality at their core.

A unique cauldron of vitality connecting worlds, exploring energy, nature & love.

THE ARTISANS & MAKERS MARKET

Established in September 2020, The Artisans & Makers Market has a leading reputation as a vibrant, high quality curation of South West makers, producers, gifted growers and one of a kind finds.

It’s been an enormous pleasure to welcome visitors and small independent businesses from all corners of the County during the last 4 years.

The Market Series has paused for the time being whilst we evaluate the next steps.

A 2024 update will be published as soon as we’ve finalised our strategy and our Market team framework.

Moving forward the Market will highly likely switch it’s form – and become a quarterly or bi-annual event – working in greater harmony with spring/summer and autumn/winter.
