The Old Stables
Standing tall, beautifully framing the intimate courtyard of the main house, you’ll find The Old Stables self contained accommodation. Eight fully renovated stylish and comfortable bedrooms, a farmhouse dining kitchen and snug sitting room.
Historic leaded windows, gilded clock tower, striking archways, ornamental ironworks and original stable doors remain – preserving the charm, character and history that lay before. Once inside, this smart collection of bedrooms carries its own uniquely formed identity.
Brilliant colour on the walls, terrific soft furnishings, fun and eclectic artwork, modern glass screens, rain showers, and walls clad in reclaimed timbers from Cornish barns.
The Old Stables are a remarkably comfortable blend of the old and the new, all designed by Lord Ivar himself.
The Garden Wing and The Park Wing
Bedrooms are divided by the fabric of the original listed building, with each group of rooms named according to their position – The Park Wing, and The Garden Wing.
Each Wing has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, approached via an external oak clad staircase.
Furthermore, The Garden Wing at ground floor level has a brand new farmhouse dining kitchen, and snug sitting room.
Just like the house, the elevated position of The Old Stables ensures the rooms have unspoilt and ever changing views of our gardens, parkland and grounds.
Flexibility for Families & Groups
The Park and Garden Wings comprise of a large family master bedroom furnished with a super king bed, a double sofa bed and an ensuite family bathroom interconnecting with a twin bedded room – creating superb flexibility for families or groups of friends.
Two further double bedded rooms with queen size beds complete the set of rooms within each Wing.
