I know it’s only early September but we are feeling just a little bit Christmassy at Bridwell this week! Don’t worry….we haven’t got the tinsel and baubles out (yet!) but we are all really excited to be drawing up plans for our fantastic season of Christmas parties here at our lovely home.
This is a brand new venture for us – one of a series of fantastic developments planned for Bridwell in coming months – and we are confident having your Christmas party here will bring you an experience which is unique, memorable and, what’s more, fantastic value for what we are offering.
Launched on the back of our fabulously successfully season hosting weddings at Bridwell, we are now aiming to sprinkle some glitter over your Christmas celebrations by offering a series of unique opportunities to enjoy a festive celebration here.
Bridwell is the perfect party location for your company Christmas lunch or dinner. Set in 100 acres of deer park in the village of Uffculme, Devon, but only minutes from junction 27 of the M5 and Tiverton Parkway mainline station, this elegant Georgian country house provides the perfect backdrop for a truly splendid festive party. We are ideally located for Exeter, Taunton and surrounding areas.
Refreshingly different from the run of the mill Christmas celebrations, Bridwell offers a warm festive welcome. Just the arrival up our long, sweeping drive takes the breath away and imagine then being greeted with a glass of mulled wine or fizz followed by a memorable dining experience in a glorious country house setting.
We can accommodate smaller parties in the Main House for up to 50 people in our elegant dining room and for larger numbers up to 150 in the stunning Orangery located just next to the Main House.
Alternatively, have your party for up to 60 seated guests in the wonderful Chapel with the log burner roaring away and lanterns adorning the windowsills. You can’t get much more festive than that! The minstrel’s gallery is the perfect spot to place a musician or two to enhance the festive feel.
There is also the opportunity to share your Christmas festivities with other guests if you don’t have large enough numbers to book Bridwell exclusively.
